We have always just called this one Spread the Word 34. To be honest, we just didn’t know if he would work, but now that we know he settles sows, has good litter size and pigs look awesome, he deserved a name! The good ones always have a story, right!!

“Hang Loose” is probably the bulkiest, densest and stoutest Spread the Word sired pig we have seen. He is a littermate to the blue pig we sold at Kings last year for $24k and his mother is the Skull & Bones blue that the Robicheaux family campaigned successfully last Winter. Hang Loose’s grandmother is a littermate to Kaden’s Grand Champion Barrow at Dallas and Great grandmother is the Dirty x Roxy Heimer sow!!! Basically, he’s bred to be great, and with his paternal grand sire being Here I Am, he is a lined bred Skull & Bones/Dirty Secret and a shot of Cruel Intention’s mom and the infamous Roxy doesn’t hurt his case!!

Just as importantly, Hang Loose is a true power boar that is round bodied, long hipped, and stout, while still possessing his sire’s look, athleticism and square build.

We bred a good chunk to him and a few good friends used, but at a year old and proven, we now can introduce him and make him available to the public! We definitely feel like “Hang Loose” should be on everyone’s short list for this next breeding season!!!
